Aharonov-Casher effect

Aharanov-Casher effect - an effect in which an electrically neutral magnetic dipole moving in a static electric field does not experience any force or torque even though its Schroedinger wave function acquires a measurable phase.1)

The effect was described by Aharanov and Casher in 1984.2)
