The conference features oral and poster session as well as invited talks on selected topical subject in electromagnetic phenomena.

The proceedings are published in English. All accepted papers are published in the Symposium Proceedings. The extended versions of selected papers were published in a Special Issue of COMPEL The International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Emerald, Bradford; the Archives of Electrical Engineering journal, and the Scientific Journal of Riga Technical University – Electrical, Control and Communication Engineering. The manuscripts are evaluated by reviewers.

History

The first EPNC took place in Poznań, Poland in November of 1972. It was initiated by Prof. Mirosław Dąbrowski from the Institute of Industrial Electrical Engineering, Poznan University of Technology.

The first 11 conferences were local events, with only some speakers from other countries.

In 1998 EPNC was for the first time held outside Poland. The last 12 conferences were international and are held every other year, usually in June or July.
