stranded_wire_magnetica.jpg

Ordinary stranded wires the individual strands are made from bare copper and not insulated from each other. The strands touch each other and the current can freely flow between the strands (unlike in a Litz wire).

The strands are 0.27 mm thick, the outer diameter of the insulation is 3.3 mm.
