Infolytica was acquired by Siemens Business,²⁾ and it is now known under the name of Infologic Design.³⁾

The Infolytica's website contains a section called Webinars Archive where previously recorded webinars are made available to the public. Also, free trial versions of MagNet, ElecNet and MotorSolve are available for download.

Infolytica was founded in 1978, by Dr. P. Silvester, Dr. E. Freeman and Dr. D. Lowther. In 1986 they were joined by Dr. J. Webb.

Since 1978, the package MagNet was two-dimensional. With the progress of computer technology it evolved to a sophisticated 3D tool, with multi-core processing architecture.
