Alignment of moments in a domain vs. Curie temperature TC: a) above TC there is no alignment (random), b) just below TC there is an alignment but thermal agitation disturbs it, c) at temperature much lower than TC the moments are aligned but continue to precess so M is lower than Msat, d) full alignment of moments at absolute zero temperature so M = Msat (full magnetic saturation).

The drawing was based on: David C. Jiles, Introduction to Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Second Edition, Chapman & Hall, CRC, 1998, ISBN 9780412798603
